How to keep the wings looking new, and how to play safely.

Safe play

Adult supervision required. The star wand is a timber stick with ribbons and is not for under 3s unsupervised. Take the wings off for sleep, and check the straps and stitching before play.

Care

  • Spot clean only, with a damp cloth and a little mild soap.
  • Store the wings flat so the quilting keeps its shape.
  • Keep the wand’s ribbons away from little mouths and dry them flat if they get wet.

What they are made of

Cotton fabric, batting, interfacing, elastic straps, a timber dowel and satin ribbons. Each set is cut by hand, so the print sits a little differently on every pair.
